"For the Kids" - Chuck Koch
Association Director
This person is responsible for the total operation of the association. Duties include developing an annual operating budget; dealing with legal matters; dealing with insurance matters; the appointing of new personnel; the evaluation of present operational staff members; the coordination of all program activities through the information supplied by the Association Program Directors; the release of information pertaining to association activities by means of the Association Webmaster and the Website/Newsletter Chairperson.
Association Assistant Director
This person will assist the Association Director with the operation of the association. Specific responsibilities will be assigned for the Association Assistant Director to perform by the Association Director.
Association Webmaster
This person is responsible for managing the Eastside Sharks Youth Sports/Activity Association Web site to enhance communications with membership. Answer e-mails directed to the webmaster. Monitor web site usage and make recommendations for keeping user's response times efficient. Maintain links to other youth sports-related web sites or sponsors as directed by the Association Director or the Web Site/Newsletter Committee. Maintain the official web site and update it as directed by the Association Director or the Web Site/Newsletter Committee.
Association Assistant Webmaster
This person will assist the Association Webmaster for managing the association website content. Specific responsibilities will be assigned by the Association Webmaster.
Association Equipment Manager
This person will be responsible for all the equipment that is used by the association. The Association Equipment manager will be responsible to work with the Program Directors and the Activity Coordinators in securing bids for the purchasing of new equipment. Also, this person will work together with the individual Team Equipment Managers in coordinating the distribution of equipment; the care and maintenance of the equipment during the course of the season; and the collection and inventorying of equipment at the end of the season.
Association Assistant Equipment Manager
This person will assist the Association Equipment Manager in the distribution, maintenance and inventorying of all equipment.
Association Merchandise Sales Coordinator
This person will be responsible for the previewing of potential sale items; the selection of these sale items; the sales and distribution of all merchandise being sold by the association.
Association Assistant Merchandise Sales Coordinator
This person will assist the Association Merchandise Sales Coordinator with the previewing, selection, sales and distribution of all merchandise.
Program Director
This person will be responsible for the administration and coordination of all activities within a specific type of program. The program director will work with all activity coordinators that are coordinating an activity within the director's type of program. (Competitive Activities Program Director; Recreational Activities Program Director; Instructional Activities Program Director; Social Development Activities Program Director)
Activity Coordinator
This person will be responsible for the administration and coordination of all operations necessary for the success of the activity.
Coaching Staff
The coaches will be responsible for the organization of the team; help in the issuing of equipment; developing practice schedules; teaching fundamental skills; team strategies and game day activities. Also, coordinate off the field activities with team parents.
Team Equipment Manager
This person will be responsible for the equipment of one team. You will work together with the Association Equipment Manager in coordinating the distribution of equipment; the care and maintenance of the equipment during the course of the season; the collection and inventorying of equipment at the end of the season. Attend practices when needed and be available on game days. No coaching experience is necessary.
Team Parent
This person's primary responsibility is to assist the coaches with off the field duties; distribution of materials; weigh-in procedure; team pictures; game day procedures; post-season awards and parties.
